Record the confirmation

The last step is you telling Psid what the portal told you. Until then the filing is a frozen form and nothing more.

Steps

  1. On the filing, find Record the submission.

  2. Tick I submitted this report in the portal.

The wording is first person on purpose. It is your statement of what you did, not Psid’s claim about what happened.

  3. Type the Confirmation number the portal gave you.

If it gave none, open The portal gave no confirmation number and say what happened instead. A missing number with a reason is a record; a missing number with nothing is a gap you will not remember next year.

  4. Set Submitted at if it was not now, then press Save submission record.

Filed · utility pending. That is the most the record can honestly claim.

What the chip means

Filed · utility pending
You uploaded it and recorded the confirmation. The utility has not told Psid anything, because Psid has no connection to the utility.
Never Accepted or Approved
No screen in Psid will ever say a utility accepted a report. Psid cannot know that, and a word that implies it would be a word a tester relies on.
Superseded
If a filing has to be corrected, the new one supersedes it. The first is not deleted or edited — what you filed stays what you filed.

If the utility later rejects the report, nothing arrives in Psid to tell you. There is no inbox, no bounce queue and no status feed. Watch the portal.
