Step 1
Add a customer
A customer is who you bill. Their service addresses are sites, and the assemblies live on the sites — so this is the first of three saves, and each one offers the next.
Step 2
Add a service site
A site is one service address: the utility that governs it, its account and meter numbers, and how you get in. Psid prints those numbers on supported forms.
Step 3
Add an assembly
Every assembly you test is a device on a site. There are seven places in the app that will take you to this form, because not finding it was the complaint that started this.
Step 4
Run a test
From the device to a completed record is one screen of readings, one screen of remarks, and the verdict shown as you type rather than after you submit.
Step 5
A test that fails
A failed reading is not a dead end and not an overwrite. You record what you repaired, retest, and the record keeps both sets of readings side by side.
Step 6
Complete the test and get the form
Completing saves the test. Supported Greenville Water, Spartanburg Water and Easley Combined Utilities tests can then produce the utility’s filled PDF; producing it is not filing it.

Greenville Water backflow report filing
Psid produces a filled PDF and copyable values. Sign in to Greenville Water’s portal and check its current filing instructions before you submit; Psid does not submit for you.
Spartanburg Water

Psid can fill Spartanburg Water’s published PDF for RP, DC and PVB tests. Review and sign the printed form, then confirm the current return method with the utility; Psid does not send it.

Psid can fill Easley Combined Utilities’ published PDF for RP, DC and PVB tests. Check the packet, complete the tester signature, and confirm the current submission route with the utility before sending it.

Record a Greenville portal submission
After a real Greenville Water portal submission, record its confirmation or explain why no number was provided. Spartanburg and Easley manual delivery cannot be recorded here yet.

An already-open readings screen can keep a draft in this browser when signal drops. Reconnect, press Upload draft and wait for Saved to Psid before leaving.
