Getting started with Psid
Set up what prints on your reports, add your first assembly, and take one test through to a saved filing record.
Before you begin
Have your company details, tester certification, gauge calibration dates, customer address, utility account and meter numbers, and assembly make, model, size and serial ready. Use a current browser with an internet connection.
Psid fills Greenville Water’s report for supported tests. Confirm the utility’s current form and submission requirements before using the PDF. The app records your work; it does not submit the report or confirm utility acceptance.
Your first session
Create your account
Choose Create account on the Psid home page and use email and password. Keep your password safe: password-reset email and magic-link delivery are not enabled.
Set up your printed identity
Enter your organization, timezone, name as printed, and typed signature. Check the test category and testing method. These values appear on the report.
Add your certification and gauge
Enter the certification number and validity dates, then the gauge identity and calibration dates. Skipping these during setup does not remove the filing requirements.
Check the preview
Use the setup preview to check your printed name and details on Greenville Water’s form. Correct them in Settings before recording a real test.
Your first report
Add a customer, then a site
Use + New → Customer, then Save and add site. Select the utility and enter its account number and meter number.
Add the assembly
Choose Save and add device. Record its type, make, model, size, serial and location. RP, DC, PVB and SVB have test entry.
Record the visit
Choose Save and start test. Check the test date, tester and gauge. Enter your measured values and conditions. Record any repair and retest without replacing the initial readings.
Complete and review
Confirm your attestation, complete the test, and review the filled PDF. Completion saves the test; it does not submit it.
Submit outside Psid, then record the result
Review the filing, download the PDF and submit using the utility’s current process. Return to the filing to record the confirmation number, or explain why none was provided. Filed · utility pending does not mean accepted.
