Roles and settings
Your role controls which records you can change and whether you can enter test readings.
What each role can do
- Owner
- Sets up the organization and works with records, tests and filings. May record a credential override with a reason and evidence reference.
- Tester
- Records tests and works with filing records. Cannot authorize a credential override.
- Office
- Works with customers, sites, devices and filings, including documented credential overrides. Cannot enter tester readings or attest to a test on a tester’s behalf.
Settings you can maintain
- Profile
- Your printed name, typed signature, test category and testing method.
- Certifications
- Certification number, certifying body, state, issue and expiry dates.
- Gauges
- Gauge make, model, serial and calibration dates; select a default gauge.
- Organization
- Company details and timezone. Organization changes are restricted by role.
Existing reports
A filing keeps a frozen snapshot. Editing current customer, tester or gauge details does not rewrite an existing filing PDF. Always review the completed packet and report mistakes to the person responsible for submission.
Team invitations and self-service role changes are not built. The member list is not an invitation form.
